🌿 Frequently Asked Questions

❓ What is a market garden?

A market garden is a small-scale farm where fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers are grown for sale directly to customers, often through farmer’s markets or subscriptions.

🥬 Do you grow everything organically?

We follow natural, sustainable practices — composting, rotating crops, and avoiding synthetic chemicals. While not certified organic, we farm with integrity and transparency.

📍 Where are you located?

We’re based in Dixie County Florida! Check our Contact for hours, pickup options, and market days.

🌻 Can I visit the garden?

Yes! We host seasonal open garden days and private tours. Stay tuned on our blog or social media, or contact us to arrange a visit.

🧺 How can I buy your produce?

Visit us at the farmer’s market, join our CSA box program, or order online for pickup/delivery (when available).

🍅 What is a CSA and how does it work?

CSA = Community Supported Agriculture. You pay up front for a season of weekly produce boxes — it supports the farm and keeps you stocked with fresh, local food.

🐝 Do you use pesticides or GMOs?

We do best effort use of natural or organic (OMRI) certified pest control, healthy soil practices, and non-GMO seeds to grow strong, resilient crops.

🌦️ What happens if there’s a bad weather season?

Weather happens! If a crop is lost, we’ll adjust our CSA boxes with other seasonal produce. Flexibility is part of farm life.
