🌱 From Soil to Supper: A Season of Growth at the Garden
As the sun rises earlier and the air starts to buzz with the sounds of spring, our little patch of earth begins to hum with life. Here at the garden, we’re knee-deep in compost, seedlings, and dreams of ripe tomatoes and crisp cucumbers. It’s the time of year where everything feels possible — and a little bit magical.
Planting with Purpose
This season, we’re focusing even more on soil health and diversity. We believe that healthy soil grows healthy food, and healthy food grows healthy communities. With that in mind, we’ve expanded our composting system, planted more cover crops, and integrated new companion planting strategies to naturally deter pests and enrich our soil.
You’ll see more pollinator-friendly flowers popping up between rows — not just for beauty (though they’re stunning), but to invite bees, butterflies, and beneficial bugs to do what they do best.
What’s Growing Now?
Right now, our beds are filled with warm-weather favorites:
- 🥕 Carrots
- 🌱 Asparagus
- 🌿 Pole Beans
- 🍅 Tomatoes
- 🥒 Cucumbers
- 🎃 Squash
- 🍉 Melons
- 🌶️ Peppers
Each crop is thriving under the careful attention of our team and the tender guidance of nature. From crunchy carrots to sweet melons, we’re looking forward to sharing the fruits (and veggies!) of this season with you.
Garden Events & Visits
We’ll soon be hosting:
- 🌻 Open Garden Days — come walk the rows, ask questions, and see where your food comes from
- 🍅 Pick-Your-Own Produce Days (tomato season is coming!)
- 🌼 Pollinator Workshops — fun for families and bee lovers

Gratitude from the Ground Up
Whether you’re a long-time supporter or just discovering us for the first time — thank you. Every seed sown, every weed pulled, and every tomato harvested is possible because of our community. We believe small farms can make a big difference, and we’re so grateful to grow alongside you.
Until next time, keep your hands dirty and your hearts full 🌱
