Stephen H. Milford, Chief Facilities Officer

Stephen H. Milford is a graduate of St. Petersburg College with an AS degree in Engineering Technology. At Pinellas Technical Education Center, Stephen has a diploma in Industrial Machine Maintenance and a diploma in Building Maintenance. His forty-plus years of experience with industrial facilities management, industrial equipment, compliance regulations along with firsthand knowledge of the following: welding, routine scheduled maintenance, project development, and organizational skills makes Steve a well-rounded member of Milford Market Garden. Steve continues daily to work towards improving gardening skills, and completion of projects. He is working towards completing a master gardener program.

Laura Milford, Chief Operating Officer

Laura Milford is a graduate of St. Petersburg College and has a BAS in Business Management and Organizational Leadership. She has experience as a public speaker, has managerial experience, and knowledge with governmental regulation, legal and compliance during her work history in the mortgage industry which pivots into an ability to recognize the importance of regulations in any industry. She is continuing her education, working towards completing a master gardener program.

Jennifer N. Milford, President

Jennifer N. Milford is a Graduate of St. Petersburg College with an AS degree in Computer Networking and Telecommunications, and an AS degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. Completing a BAS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance with Western Governors University. Experienced in physical security, and sixteen of years in IT and cybersecurity world and she has multiple industry certifications.

Our Management Philosophy

Milford Market Garden, while we are NOT a certified organic garden YET, we strive to use organic gardening methods as often as possible. Our goal is to one day become a Certified Organic Garden. Milford Market Garden chose to use BCS tractors because they are well-balanced, powerful, and easy to use. BCS tractors are two-wheel tractors that provide a variety of attachments allowing one tractor to perform multiple different farming tasks. These tractors are perfect for the market garden. In addition to the purchase of our tractor, we bought several different attachments to make the workload easier and more efficient. BCS America has dealers in the USA, www.bcsamerica.com. BCS group manufactures their tractors in Italy with branches in Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, and China. At Milford Market Garden, we work with UF/IFAS. UF/IFAS offers soil testing, information/instructions on organic methods, Pest and Disease Control, and offers a Master Gardening Program. UF/IFAS has a variety of information and offers advice to aid the market gardener. As a grower, we find the resources offered by UF/IFAS to be extremely beneficial. Our website, provides information on our projects, videos and photographs showing our results as they are available. In the future, we will offer classes on assorted topics, look for the announcements on the home page.
